Glen Wilson, CEO and Justin Sterling, Director of Business Development at SouthStar LLC out-shined the competition in one of the toughest markets in memory to each receive a 2009 CoStar "Power Broker" Award for the Nashville market.

SouthStar LLC is one of many companies that practice and advocate the practice of giving back to the community. This year they are proud to help raise support for Ethan Bibb through the "Chords for a Cure" benefit concert at Third and Lindsey.

February 2010, Justin Sterling has joined the SouthStar team as the Director of Business Development.  In addition to leveraging his experience brokering deals, Justin’s creative skill set and marketing background will be the driving force in growing our brand and creating new opportunities.  We are excited incorporating the latest in technology to increase productivity, streamline our workflow and generate exposure for our products and services.

January 2010,  Fairview TN, South Star sold Bowie Commons to PGM properties for and Undisclosed amount. 

December 2009,  SouthStar has sold the Fairview AutoZone.

December 2009, SouthStar represented Pulte Homes in the purchase of  99 acres comprised of 41 developed lots, and 86 undeveloped lots  in Brentwood TN for 6.25 million dollars. 

June 2009, SouthStar has been working for three years to assemble 6 properties across 14 acres in what we affectionately refer to as Bowie Commons.   We are proud to announce that Publix is going to Anchor this development.   This is the first grocery store of it’s kind to come to the area and a tremendous opportunity for Publix and the community. 

March 2009, Fairview TN, SouthStar has signed 1.5 Acre ground lease to AutoZone.

FAIRVIEW, TENNESSEE, SEPTEMBER 9, 2008 -  The City of Fairview plans to sign the Conservation Easement for Bowie Nature Park in October 2008.
